Capture the first few weeks of your amazing new born baby
Do you want photographs of your newborn in a natural setting?
Do you want a relaxed photoshoot, without any pressure?
Will you be unable to travel, would you prefer to have the photos taken at home?
Then I am very glad that you’ve found me! I can definitely help you!
Stephanie helped us capture a very special moment for our family taking our newborn shots of two week old Ethan. Following a negative experience with the bounty photographer in the hospital I was a bit apprehensive about the shoot but Stephanie immediately put me and baby at ease and we had a really relaxed and enjoyable shoot. She has a real skill at capturing anything you want from a shoot but also unlocking amazing images you wouldn’t think of yourself. The finished results are simply stunning and we can’t recommend the whole experience highly enoughAmy
How can I help you get those amazing photographs?
Before the session
Before baby’s born, we’ll spend a little time on the phone discussing what kind of photos you’re looking for, and what you’re planning to do with the images.
We’ll talk about where you’d like the photoshoot to happen – if you can’t travel, I can come to you, or you may fancy a trip out of the home and come to the studio.
As babies don’t always turn up on the date planned, we’ll set the date for the photoshoot once baby decides to join us – one less thing for you to worry about!
The session itself
At the beginning of the session, I’ll spend a little time talking to you, letting baby get used to my voice and the click of the camera.
My preference is to use natural daylight whenever I can; if we have to use flash, this won’t upset baby as we’ll let them get used to it before using flash on photographs.
I’ll then direct you with some poses with baby, whilst also making sure we get photos of baby by themselves.
We will be working around baby, so if they need feeding, we’ll stop to feed – if you feel comfortable, I’ll take photographs of you feeding baby, as a record for you in years to come.
After the session
I will book a viewing session for approximately seven to 10 days after the photoshoot. At this session, I will bring along approximately 30-40 images for you to look through and choose the photographs you like best. This might be done at your home, or you could join me at my cabin studio for a cup of coffee/tea/glass of wine! This will also give you chance to decide what package you would like to purchase.
