QUESTIONS
How much are your sessions - TBU
Are there any animals you won't photograph?
Just so you’re pre-warned, if you bring your favourite spider or centipede, I will be using my long lens!
What do you class as a "small animal"
I know, I know – there are plenty of dogs who could easily be mistaken for a pony, (especially the Pyrenean Mountain Dog practically carrying its owner out of our vets the other day!), but I’ve just made a little distinction.
How many animals can I bring to one session?
I haven’t set a limit on the number of animals in a session, but the one thing you will have to bear in mind is the more animals, the less time each will have in front of the camera. Therefore the fewer images you’ll have of your friend.
As a safeguard, I would always suggest a longer session if you have more than one dog. This will allow for furry/feathered naughtiness.
This will, of course, be something we’ll discuss on the call before your photo shoot.
How long do the sessions last?
Small Animals
You have the choice between a one or two hour session. If you have more than one small animal, I would suggest you book the two hour session to allow for naughtiness and rest breaks.
The two hour sessions may be split between two days if the weather becomes inclement during an indoor session is booked before an out-door session.
Horses
The session is two hours. This will allow for three outfit changes and a second location if possible.
Where are the sessions held?
Small Animals
Well, you have a choice, depending on the kind of images you are looking for!
One hour sessions can be held in my studio “The Cabin” based in Crowthorne, Berkshire, in your home or at an outdoor location chosen by you and I. There are some beautiful areas around the Crowthorne area, so we are completely spoilt for locations!
For the two hour session, you have the choice of two locations with close travelling time together. So, if you’re after a mixture of studio and natural looking photos, you could come to The Cabin and then Bracknell Forest.
Horses
Naturally it will be easier to hold the session at your your/stable or home or another chosen location. As the session is for two hours, it does allow us to move to another location too, dependent on the images you want to achieve.
We will, of course, discuss the locations on our call.
How will I know how to prepare for the session?
My pet has limited movement/is too old to run, does this matter?
If they’re slightly infirm but love to be outdoors, or you want natural photos, we’ll go where they don’t need to walk far. I also have a dog-buggy we can use if need be!

Can I be in the photos too?

I absolutely recommend you get in there with your friend! It’s so important to have a photo together, enjoying a special moment together.
So, make sure you wear matching outfits and bring the lippy! Ladies, you’ll need to bring stuff too!
Can I get my hair and make up done before the shoot?
There will be a further charge, but we can discuss that on the call.
Can I bring my kids along to be in the photos?
I love it when we get kids and dogs together – the chaos, laughter and fun! I always start the sessions with the kids and pets playing together as much as possible (depending on the size and type of pet of course!).
What if the weather's awful on the day?
If we’re booked in for a studio session, then we’ll enjoy being nice and cosy in The Cabin.
If we’ve booked an outdoor session, we can arrange another day at no cost to you.
If you want to go ahead with getting some amazing images in the rain, we’ll carry on arranged. If it starts to thunder – I’ll meet you back at the car!
How long will I have to wait for the photos after the session?
How will I view the photos from the session?
Why can't I view the photos online?
Apart from me being completely selfish, I also believe it’s part of the service I provide as part of the photo shoot experience.
Does the session fee include the digital files?
